Marcotheclepto on CACO wanted to try a T-line with an eclipse SW8102. Good or bad, I can't wait to get feedback from him. I think I'm relatively good at T-lines. When I can get a mutli fold taper down tony the tiger would say. THEERRRRE GRRRRRREEAT!

Details: I could not fit a full or tapered line down to fs within his max measurements, but after hearing he was also looking for a bit of output to boot, I settled with a tapered line down to 33hz and a fair response curve. Impedance may look a little off for a T-line, but stayed very close to what it should.

hey guys, thanks vmann will probably be back with you in the future looking for a HT desing for the same sub Smile
digging it very much so. no videos now, but will try to get something up eventually (sitting in my backseat bare atm.)
will get it prettied up and redo my amp rack in trunk to accomodate for this. i just like to be able to keep an eye on it. (ive got 1k rms at 8 ohms on it atm)

You should notice a major difference in overall output once it is in your trunk with better boundary loading effect. Also, where the upper impedance peak is, is where exursion will be greatest. The T-line for my DD1510's in my civic hatchback gets crazy with maybe 40 or so watts of power.

Just an FYI, this was a harder woofer to design a T-line for. How is it doing cone control wise?

its doing well. (gains set to 1k rms) keep the gain knob (wired one) set at 2/3 for most songs have to cut it down to about 1/2 for some heavy ones. and tones about 1/4- 1/2 depending on freq.
