17.75 tall
62 wide
13.5" bottom
10" top

Those are the dimensions. I'm thinking the subs on the driver's side and the port on the passenger's side to the side.

4 DC LVL3 10's, but LVL4 softparts extra spiders and dual surrounds.

*Edit, posted wrong specs.

Tell me what you think, This iteration is tuned a hair more than 34hz.

Looks good!!! Any way we could double baffle?

Vmann

By adding a double baffle like in the pic, the numbers come out 4.43^ft after all displacements, tuned right at 34hz Smile

The double baffle at 34 should be perfect. Stoked to get this done. Grabbing carpet today. I have to work 4 days this week at Starbucks.

Kyle's port was extremely close to the sub. He hasn't had a single problem.

Haters gonna hate.

OMG, and that design doesn't have any bracing either!!! I guess you can't add any bracing Cam because it not shown in the sketchup idk

Well according to Decaf... "sub closest to the port moves more, its "seeing" the most volume/has the least back pressure"

But who's to say that the drivers on the center of Ami's design won't do the same thing? idk

It's possible, but doubtful.

Who says that for anything other than Super street or Extreme installs idk

obrien, since it is your enclosure, if the drivers stagger is something you are worried about, for whatever reason, I have no problem changing it for you.

I don't think the current design will have any issues what so ever, though. I'd rather cluster the drivers than spread them out.

Let me know!

Nope. I'm going to build Ami's design and deal with the possiblity of excessive port compression.

That's nice

I do think Cam has a good point though. Those woofers are going to move a ton of air.

That aside though, in my design I tried to achieve as close to a 1:2 vent ratio as possible to make it as efficient as possible. Couple that boundary loading effect of the vent on the passenger side, and clustering of the woofers on the driver side for more boundary loading and phase alignment.

I don't usually include bracing in my sketches, but I did talk to Cam about the most effective way of bracing without taking up to much space.

Either way Obrien, you'll get cool enclosure thumbs

Well I like your enclosure more but it seems as if grumpy gills made up his mind ^

Haha! Not so much grumpy. Both should work well. I can see the positive and possible negatives of both.

But it's up to you! You're the boss! Very Happy
